One World

We are all one. 

This world has existed before. Then it was destroyed. Then it existed again. Then it was destroyed. 

The third time around, a miracle happened. 

All the world became one. Land, water sky and life merged together. Pangaea.

For a thousand years it was. Pangaea. a being that can not be described. A state of mind. A story of romance. It was the beginning and the end. God's ultimate creation. 

For a thousand years it was, and a thousand years ago, it was no longer. Beauty was always meant to be fleeting. It strikes like a thunderbolt and then disappears, leaving behind legions of believers. Such is the will of God. A thousand years is but a drop in the ocean of His realm. 

But again, fleeting and temporary as it was. It was magnificent. Stories could be told of it. Words can attempt to describe it. poems and ballads. It all pales to capture it. The only thing that can come close is the romance of a longing heart. 

Hermits have been telling its story ever since. They would embark on journies seeking illumination. They would travel the world in an endless quest of freedom of knowledge. They would sing to it, dance to it, weep for it, call out its name, "Pangaea", in ecstasy, and hope for an answer. 

They would dance to it under the moonlight, like moths dance to the fire. In time, they would burn in it too. 

Pangaea. The One World. The pinnacle of romance and the dream of all those who wish their thirst quenched.The ultimate poem ever sung and the most epic of tales ever told.  

Pangaea.  

Was it true? Was it false? Does it really matter? Truth and falsehood are notions we developed to frame our lives. To guide us through our decisions and to help us react and interact. 

The truth does not matter. The truth is that it doesn't matter if Pangaea is true or false. Pangaea has existed for a thousand years, and still exists in the hearts of those who choose to see it.
